White water rafting began as recreation and a summer job during college, but quickly became the central portion of our lives.  In 1977 we decided to start our own business as Salmon River Rafting Outfitters. We have now been running rivers for over 30 years. The river is a way of life as much as a living. Aggipah River Trips is a small, family, Salmon River-only operation, yet by offering trips on various sections of the Salmon River and different times of the year we have a variety of trips available. We think it is better to stay on one river, and know it better, than to spread out over a number of rivers in different areas.

Aggipah River Trips outfits white water rafting and fishing trips on the three roadless sections of Idaho's Salmon River--the Middle Fork, Main, and Lower Salmon-- throughout the year.

White Water Rafting

We offer a variety of trips--from rip-roaring white water to mellow family floats. 

During the summer, most trips are three to six days with overnight camping on the riverbank in the wilderness area.  Non-white water day or half-day scenic trips are available near Salmon, Idaho from April to October.

Salmon River Fishing

Come fish with us close to town, or on the pristine roadless sections of The Salmon River. We offer trips from drift boat fly fishing, to sportsman's cast-and-blast, to day steelhead fishing. 

In the fall and early spring we offer one to five day steelhead fishing trips using McKenzie River drift boats.
