Dear Bill, I can't believe it has been a whole year since we gathered for our wonderful never-to-be forgotten trip down the Middle Fork with you. Everyone is still talking about it with joy and delight. Our family will hold the experience in our hearts and mind's eye forever. There was a spiritual quality to the adventure as well as all the fun, which reinforced the affection between family members.

We just got home from our time in Sun Valley and I cannot tell you how many times we thought of you all having your son home and being on the river!! Again, many many thinks for everything!! My husband, Lloyd, and I took your trip down the Middle Fork in August, 1990, and it was one of the best trips of our lives....It was my first camping trip, and I was a bit nervous as to whether I was really going to enjoy it...I remember the stroies you told us of the folks who lived in the area decades ago, the politics of the Salmon area, and your family...the letters are wonderful, and I just wanted you to know how much they are appreciated.

I wanted to tell you what a great time Perry and I had on our recent river trip! You and your staff did a fantastic job getting us down the river safely, even through Cramer (rapid)....The food was delicious (thanks for accommodating my lettuce allergy), the tents easy and the pads comfortable.

I have tried to decide what made the trip so special, other than thte wonderful trip itself. I finally decided that rather than feeling like someone who had hired someone else to take them on a trip, it felt like going with friends. There was none of this "you are the client" type of thing.

My friends and I recently returned from rafting the Main Salmon with Aggipah River Trips. I have extensive previous rafting experience, including the Colorado through the Grand Canyon and Cataract Canyons, the Grreen, the Yampa, and the Rogue. I have to say that the Main Salmon with Aggipah was by far my best rafting experience. Bill and Stephanie Bernt have a reverence for the river and the wilderness that is contagious. The history and knowledge that they shared made me feel like I was an integral part of the experience. The Bernts run a first class operation. Even the equipment and food was a cut above what I had experienced with other outfitters...My friends and I are already planning our Middle Fork trip for next summer!
