Lower Salmon River rafting trips in picturesque back country white water river rafting setting with only a few miles of primitive road along this 70-mile section of river. The Lower Salmon River terrain consists of rugged grassy slopes with scattered strands of timber and basalt rimrock, alternating with miles-long granite canyons.
